Storing Short Circuit and Arc Flash Results
You can store short circuit results or arc flash results in the database for the following bus types:
- ATS
- Switchgear
- Switchboard
- Panelboard
- Panel
- MCC
To store the results, do the following:
- Select the buses for which you want to store the results. If no buses are selected, then it stores results for all the applicable buses.
- On the Short Circuit tab, click Fault Bus(es) > Advanced, and then select Fault and Store Sym kA or Fault and Store Arc Flash.
- When you return to the Database Edit focus, click Yes when asked to save your temporary changes. The results are now stored in the database.
Note: These options are only available if your system is set to use ANSI short circuit calculations.
